Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TwoPurse (the “Service”), operated by [Company Legal Name] (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

TwoPurse is a manual budgeting, expense-tracking, and debt-management tool for households. It is not a bank, does not connect to or move money in any financial account, and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. All figures come from data you and your household members enter yourselves; the Service does not verify their accuracy.

2. Accounts and households

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure.
• A “household” is a shared workspace for financial data. The person who creates a household is its owner; they may invite additional members, who see and can edit the same shared data once they accept.
• You are responsible for who you invite into your household and for the accuracy of data you or your household members enter.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Trial:new accounts get 14 days of full Paid-tier access automatically, with no card required. Unless you upgrade, your account moves to the Free tier at the end of the trial — data created during the trial beyond Free's limits is not deleted, but becomes inaccessible until you upgrade.
• Free tier: 1 household, current calendar month only (no history), no Trends page, up to 10 expenses/month, 2 loans, 1 credit card bill entry, and no custom categories — see the Pricing page for current limits.
• Paid tier: unlimited households, history, and logging, billed monthly or annually, processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time except where required by law.
• We'll give you at least [30 days'] notice before any price increase takes effect on your existing subscription.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another household's data, or bypass or probe the Service's access controls
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service's operation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Your data

You own the financial data you enter. You may export or delete it at any time (see the Privacy Policy for details). We act as a custodian of that data on your behalf while your account is active.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, insight, or projection (e.g. debt-to-income ratio, savings-rate insights) constitutes financial or professional advice — it is informational only, derived mechanically from the data you provide. Consult a licensed financial advisor for personalized advice.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company Legal Name] will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any figure or insight it displays. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12 months] preceding the claim.

8. Termination
